Service Methods

Therapy services can be provided in the following formats:

Telehealth/Virtual

This option is convenient for individuals who have a busy schedule and want to engage in services from the comfort of their own private space. Please make sure you have a strong internet connection and a quiet and private space available.

Walk & Talk

Walking helps to lower cortisol - the stress hormone. Walking improves mood and increases blood to the brain. Walking is also good for joints and muscles. Given all these known health benefits, Walk & Talk therapy can be a great option for anyone who desires a holistic approach to wellness. Walk & Talk sessions are conducted within a 5 mile radius of Bethesda, MD.

Home-based Therapy

Home-based therapy is also called home-based psychotherapy, home-based counseling, or in-home therapy. It takes place when a therapist provides therapy in a person's home. Home-based therapy is usually provided at the kitchen table or in a living room. When treatment is provided at home, the therapeutic relationship may develop more quickly. This often occurs because people in therapy can be more relaxed in their own homes than in an office. Instead of relying on self-reporting, the therapist may get deeper insights from seeing how and where people live. As a result, effective treatment can progress, and progress may occur more easily. Home-based therapy can be used occasionally, as a supplement to telehealth/virtual sessions, or as your main approach to therapy.

Please note that Home-based Therapy services are only provided to individuals who have been referred by a designated connection and live within a 10 mile radius of Bethesda, MD. If you are interested in this service, please include your referral contact when you fill out the Get In Touch form. The fee for Home-based therapy includes a set travel fee.
